In order to be able to work with sustainable wood burning and contribute wood burning as an important source of energy in the total energy mix also in the future, we also need to know the amount of emissions and their distribution. This is calculated today, but with airMont's solution, accuracy related to emission quantity and distribution will be significantly improved. The solution becomes a tool for reporting, but also enables targeted measures that have a real effect.

The solution is under development and we are happy to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the solution's end-user value.

If interested to know more about this solution and how you can collaborate with us at hello@airmont.no

Sustainable wood burning

Different types of dust and gases are mixed in the air: fine and coarse particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10) from, among other things, wood burning, exhaust, asphalt and car tyres. In addition, nitrogen dioxide (NO2) comes from cars, while ozone is formed in the air from components from various sources. Together or individually, the pollutants can trigger health problems in children and vulnerable people, especially in winter.
