airMont has been granted a patent in Europe and the USA for measurement technology for gas measurements.
With our air quality meter Canary, which is under development, it will be possible to notify and inform local residents at any time, adapted to the type of gas measurements for the desired purpose. The measurements have high precision, and will satisfy the new EU standard for indicative measurements CEN 17660-1.

In the 19th century, canaries were used in the mines to warn workers about poor air quality. In today's modern society, we introduce the Canary air quality meter, which will be able to give people alerts about the air quality in places where they stay or travel.
The meters can be placed near nurseries, schools, parks and footpaths in urban environments and industrial areas that are exposed to high levels of air pollution, and will be useful for detecting and avoiding harmful emissions
Air quality is a local phenomenon, and local insight is therefore crucial for increased knowledge and control over local emissions. All cities/municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants are required to monitor and report on air quality nationally and to the EU.
